The 18A is a three-channel HF AM Transmitter supported by a 411 external power supply. For remote operation, a 451 Engine Generator (110VAC) was available.
The model shown below, complete with a Brush Crystal microphone, was constructed specifically for the Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS).
