The 10A is a panel-mounted crystal-controlled HF oscillator unit with sufficient power output to serve as a stand-alone transmitter. Using plug-in coils the unit is designed to operate on the 160, 75, 40 and 20 meter amateur bands.
The 10A can also be used to drive a follow-on RF amplifier, such as a 3A.
The companion 500AX Power Supply is required to provide the operating voltages.
